For the attention of Mr. Pitt.

Dear Sir,

Further to our conversation of a week ago we have today despatched you under separate cover - One Delco Rear Shock Absorber. This is the type of shock absorber which we consider fulfils our requirements as to performance and durability, and has additionally an adjustable leak which we consider to be a great asset.

With regard to the valves themselves, these are rather more elaborate than we consider necessary but you will doubtless be able to let us know whether the manufacture of these is likely to produce any material increase in expense which might otherwise be avoided.

In addition to quoting us a price for the manufacture of shock absorbers(similar to the one we are sending you) in quantities of 100/week, we understand that you are also submitting to us a set of shock absorbers similar to those shewn in your drawing No.W.9002-112 to enable us to carry out an endurance test on this particular type. We confirm that the only modification we should like for testing these shock absorbers is to have two spring loaded valves instead of the existing one spring loaded valve and viscosity orifice.

We should be glad if you would give us an approximate date when we may expect to receive a pair of these shock absorbers
