40/50. HP. CHASSIS. GEAR BOX.
-----------------------------

It has been decided that we should let Messrs Buck & Hickman have six pairs of 40/50. gear box helical gear blanks G.3423/4 for the purpose of sending to America to be cut with the special hobbing machine which they claim has a considerable improvement over any other hobbing machine and gives far better results, therefore should be glad if you would arrange to have six pairs of these blanks prepared which are just ready for hobbing, when we will arrange to have them despatched for the attention of Mr.Buskard of Messrs Buck & Hickman.

When these gears are returned we shall be glad if you will arrange to have these tested in the first place on our testing rig, after which we shall decide whether they should be put into gear boxes or not.
