Dear Sirs,
X3565
Our Cambridge works forwarded us your letter of the 22nd inst. We do not anticipate that there will be any difficulty in meeting your requirements. We would prefer at the moment not to commit ourselves to any definite scale range as this might involve ordering special tubing, whereas if we may choose the range within limits agreed to by you, we could probably use our standard tubing. We do not anticipate that there will be any difficulty in supplying you with an instrument of a range between a minimum of 80-100°C. and a maximum of 150-200°C. On this assumption our price for one thermometer complete with 12 ft. of tubing would be £6/15/- net, the price of every additional foot of tubing being 2/-. Delivery would be made as soon as possible after receipt of your instructions.
The thermometer offered would be, of course, exactly similar to those which we supply to you for fitting to your cars.
Yours faithfully,
FOR THE CAMBRIDGE & PAUL INSTRUMENT CO. LTD.
