This box tested after reducing angle of top core .004" and third core .002". New ball races fitted to first motion shaft. Gears. 1st. Still on the heavy side, over-run more pronounced. 2nd. Light forward, heavy over-run. 3rd. Light note forward and over-run. Continuous gears. Quiet, no improvement in ball race noise. Synchromesh. 2nd. Smooth action. 3rd.
