HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}5/M3.2.31. x2061. CHRYSLER GEARBOX. On the R.H. chassis the gear lever is necessarily shorter than on the Chrysler, or our own L.H. chassis. This will mean that we shall wish to make the springs on the Maybach jaw operation somewhat lighter than on the Chrysler. Do you anticipate that we shall experience any trouble in getting the jaws fully home? We presume that by now you will have tried a Chrysler gearbox.
