We understand that you discussed the alteration to be made to this grille verbally with E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}, and should like you to carry out the alteration decided upon, i.e. to twist all the horizontal bars through 90°, so that we can test the value of the alteration. After this has been tested we should like you to reduce the width of the large vertical bars by 25%, so that we can test the value of this alteration also.
