We have sent out enquiries for six stationary type accumulator cells for the purpose of your lighting installation to three firms, for instance, Messrs. Van Raden & Co. Ltd., Messrs. The Premier Accumulator Co. Ltd., and Messrs. Peto & Radford Accumulator Co. Ltd., We have the following quotations from these firms:-

One from Messrs. Van Raden -
"Six, 9-plate "JKS" type cells, with glass boxes, lead discs, oil insulators, glass spray arrestors, separators, connecting bolts, carriage paid to DERBY STATION, the sum of:- £10. 6. 6."
Delivery 14 days from receipt of order.
102ampere hour capacity.

Secondly from Messrs. The Premier Accumulator Co.:-
"6 of our C.2.type, 5 plate, cells, capable of giving 90 ampere hours at the 10 hour rate to 1.8 volts per cell,
Price .......................£7. 4. 0. nett.
The above price includes complete positive and negative sections, separators, glass boxes, spray plates, non-corrosive bolts, lead discs, oil insulators, and acid, all packed and delivered complete f.o.r. Derby, including carriage on return of empties".

Thirdly from Messrs. Peto and Radford Co., for 6 of their type C.7 "Umpire" stationary Accumulators cells of 90 ampere hour capacity, price £6. 18. 0.
