WEIGHT OF THE FIRST B.50 BODY.

The first B.50 body complete with wings and running boards weighs 12 cwts. Due to accessories, lamps, etc., it is not always easy to get a true comparative weight for different bodies, but this has been done in the attached list.

It will be seen that B.50, without occasional seats, and with less room in the back, weighs as much as one of the Limousine Wraiths. In its favour, it has a built-in luggage container, but on our particular car it has not a cantilever luggage grid. When steel wings and running boards are used the weight will increase about ½ cwt. We think that a careful weight analysis should be made of the next body to see if any unnecessary weight can be located.
