Our Ref: R {Sir Henry Royce} /KGC/NG. 23rd June, 1938. For the attention of the Experimental Dept. Dear Sirs, We have your letter of the 22nd instant from which we note that the print of your 25 /30 H.P. chassis exhaust system lay-out was posted to us towards the end of last week. We would say however, that this has not yet been received by us and we would ask therefore whether you could let us have a further print. The question of a Burgess Silencer for the Bentley chassis has been receiving our careful consideration meanwhile, and we are despatching one preliminary Silencer, reference X.422 to you tonight. We shall naturally look forward with great interest to your report on the performance of this unit in due course. Yours faithfully, BURGESS PRODUCTS COMPANY LIMITED.
