Richard Summers.

This gentleman called me up on the 'phone this morning and wanted to know whether you had definitely booked him a chassis. I told him that I thought you probably had not since he had failed to agree with your proposition. This seemed to worry him a certain amount, as I have definitely persuaded him to change his car as soon as he can.

I shall be glad if you will give me a ring on Monday and tell me what is the best thing to do with him. I believe he would do the deal with you for £250 and his old car.

I mislaid that chassis number you gave me for Mr. Thompson and shall be glad if you would let me know what it was.
