| S/W....Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c.to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} X23/e C12/C18.10.33 I confirm our conversation yesterday regarding the Bentley Trials cars, viz. that you will arrange for Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} to take the Trials cars to Ascot and try them over the same road as we used them during the Press demonstrations, with a view to reckoning up to what extent, if any, they have deteriorated with use. Also you will send me along some information as to how the trials car drivers may detect the first signs of any failure in the pistons, so that we may immediately change them, if necessary, without risking a stoppage.
