Referring to your HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG141127, the following is a list of the features to be incorporated in the above chassis:-

(1) Improved steering geometry to N. sch. 2401.
(2) Battery ignition with scrubbing contacts.
(3) Modified starter clutch.
(4) Modified gearbox to give improved floorboard clearance and improved ground clearance.
(5) Modified equaliser to improve ground clearance.
(6) Modified undershield.
(7) Spring loaded front end side steering tube.
(8) Bonnet fasteners and lock the same as Sports Phantom.
(9) Wider dash (cast.)
(10) Longer frame - lower by 1 1/2", 1" by wheels, 1/2" otherwise.
(11) Modification to petrol tank etc at the back, to give more ground clearance.
(12) Smaller diameter wheels.
(13) Narrower hubs.
(14) 'D' steering only, therefore only lower seats.
(15) Engine flexibly suspended at rear end.
(16) Turbulent head in aluminium, compression ratio about 5.3 to 1.
(17) Larger inlet valves.
(18) Crankshaft with larger journals and oval webs as instructed.
(19) Present standard con. rods but without oil pipes to little ends.
(20) Present standard pistons with perfect circle scraper ring.
