1023 664 S/W To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}13/E31.3.38 Referring to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.6/MH.{M. Huckerby}26.3.38, this note came through, not marked 'Secret' and not in a covering envelope. The bumper now fitted appears to be quite satisfactory but we do not like the over-riders. We agree they are the same as on the Bentley but with the Bentley radiator they seem all right. We should like something more distinctive on the RR and, if Breden could make the RR type, even at the cost of a few shillings more, we think it would be worth it. If he cannot actually copy the Ridlington one, perhaps he could do something which gives the distinction which is in harmony with the chassis. Would you please let me have the comparable price from Ridlington for the bumper for this series of chassis. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
