re Delco-Remy Distributors.

With reference to By.15/N.24.11.38. we have now made certain that all Wraith distributor with the exception of about a hundred which are either at the Depot or in customers hands, have cams of a hardness which falls within our limits. We estimate that 25 of the above 100 will require new shaft assemblies. In order that the changeover may be carried out smoothly we recommend that 24 new distributors be obtained from Messrs. Delco Remy to be used as a floating stock for replacing these distributors to be tested. Later when any rejects have been made good, the distributors may go into stock for service purposes. At the moment we have no spares.
