Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}1/JH.

3nd. December, 1938.

Messrs. Ferranti Ltd.,
Moston,
Manchester.10.

For the attention of Mr. G.A. Hall.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 29th. inst. ref. GAH/LL. re the two radio sets, type 128C complete with running board aerials. We have received one of these up-to-date.

We shall require five more sets in the near future and will send a covering order for these in a few days.

It has been necessary to mount one of your control heads so that a line joining the knobs lies in a vertical position, instead of horizontally as shown in the drawing. Can you supply a dial calibrated to suit this position? Also the control and dial light lead should be 5 feet long and the multi-core lead from set to power pack should be 5 ft. 6 ins. long.

We should like the above modifications as soon as possible to enable us to complete the installation.

How is the unit in which a tone control is included mounted on the speaker? We would like you to introduce this feature as soon as possible as we are confident that this will add to its attraction.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
