An examination of Mr. Duckham's Bentley which has been running on Duckham's oil and Adcoid tablets has indicated remarkably little cylinder bore wear. It is, of course, difficult to know whether this is due to the manner in which the car has been driven, or to the merits of the lubricant. We are, however, anxious to try this combination on some car which we know is driven in a manner which is likely to cause fairly accute cylinder bore wear.

We note in your recent summary of cylinder bore wear that B.61.FC. cylinder wear amounted to an average of about .009 in 28,000 miles. B.126.GA. also shows appreciable wear after 25,000 miles.

If you could get hold of one of these customers, whom you know well and who frequents the Bentley Depot, I am sure that Duckhams would be only too pleased to supply the necessary adcoids and oil which could be used, and the car kept under observation.

We should like to know what you can do in this matter.
