RE MARSTON RADIATORS.

We have been bumping the standard Marston Radiator similar to those being used on production. We have obtained very much worse results than we did with a similar radiator we tested previous to the War. One leak started after 4 hours bumping and 2 more leaks started after 6 1/2 hours bumping. One leak is due to a tube collapsing or else it was originally a faulty tube.

We suggest that we should send this radiator back to Marstons and send a man over to see it dismantled and see why it was failed. He could also see whether they are keeping to our specification as regards tubes.

We think this failure is very serious because the result we have obtained is no better than our old radiators which gave us endless trouble on the road.

EH.
