Recd 27 SEP 1940 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EC A/ST.{Capt. P. R. Strong} 24th September, 1940. Messrs. Joseph Lucas Ltd., Great King Street, BIRMINGHAM 19. Your reference A BGC.17 For the attention of Mr. B.G. Crupper. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 19th September and also for the enclosed dynamo drawing and output curves. We are still looking for a stock dynamo on the market capable of looking after continuous loads of 17-18 amperes. Our own "five inch" machine, weighing 24 lbs., can do this. Do you know of one? We have one of your DK4A type distributors as fitted to the "ROVER 10". Can you supply a vacuum unit for fitting to this distributor? If this is not possible, can you supply us with a vacuum unit complete, with vernier adjuster, as fitted to your DK4A type distributor on the Vauxhall "10"? We shall be very grateful for your advice on the above. Yours faithfully, | ||
