Bentley Clutch.

N. Sch.4517 herewith shows a lightened operating lever and spring cup provided to reduce the deflection of the flywheel cover.

The lightening of the lever at the inner end has the desirable effect of reducing the mass of the part which is most responsible for the change of the balance of the lever with different positions.

The alterations shown reduce the strength of the pieces and so it will no doubt be considered that extensive testing is necessary before standardisation.

N.Sch.4517 herewith.
