To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} X7961 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/KW.18.12.34. Mr. Fairey's First Bentley Car. With reference to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}16/E.14.12.34, there is likely to be some little delay with this car owing to the difficulty in obtaining the approved type of Wilmot-Breeden bumper bar. We have only just settled with Messrs. Wilmot-Breeden as to the final details of the bumper bar which we wish them to supply, as modifications had to be made to facilitate the insertion of the starting handle etc. We anticipate it will be a week to ten days before we get the first batch of bumpers through made to this specification.
