1204 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/R.{Sir Henry Royce} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/Sept., 1937. Capt. A.W. Phillips, The Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, S.W.1. Dear Captain Phillips, Thank you so much for the passes and tickets which you have been good enough to let Rolls-Royce have. We are wondering whether you could dine with some members of the Company at the Directors' House at Duffield on Friday night next at 8.p.m. We realise that you may be very involved with matters in connection with the Race, but should very much appreciate your Company if you could manage it. If you could come we would give you a route card showing how you can find the house, or, if you have not a car, we could arrange to pick you up. Yours sincerely, | ||
