Thank you for your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG22.11.23. We can see that taken in this way you can get over 40,000 lbs. inches torque on the front axle, but we meant that we were calculating on getting so much braking, in fact we are not reckoning on getting much over 11,00 lbs. ins. which will reduce the deflection of the spring very much.
