Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter and the print of the HT.4 damper. We have very roughly checked up whether this damper will fit on our existing chassis, and have found one or two places where trouble may occur.

As we only want to fit up one of our own chassis with the large dampers for test, your suggestion of sending us a set for inspection and test would be the most satisfactory.

We should therefore like you to send us a set of HT.4. dampers, the length of the arms being 9" from centre to centre. We are arranging for the HT.3 dampers which you recently supplied, to be returned to you.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
