86051 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/MA. 18th December, 1933. The A.T. Speedometer Co.Ltd., Chronos Works, North Circular Road, London, N.W.2. Dear Sirs, We have tested the new lightened type rev-clock for calibration variation with temperature and we note that the scale reading gradually reads slower with rise of temperature until a temperature of 45ºC. is reached when it then gradually begins to read fast again. Is this in accordance with your test figures? In any case the variation between 19ºC. and 30ºC. was found to be 2% which is not any better than the existing instrument. We are sending you one copy of our test results for your perusal and should be glad to have your remarks on the same as soon as convenient. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
