+457 To PN.{Mr Northey} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to CWB. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/LG14.6.28. 6-CYL: BENTLEY. X3805 With reference to FN1/WT13.6.28. We should very much like to try with you the 6-cyl. Bentley under high speed conditions on a bad road. We have previously tried this car at normal speeds when we were favourably impressed, but we know that these cars have suffered from high speed wobbles. The best roads we know of for high speed are round Cambridge. The Cambridge/Norwich road, after Newmarket, is particularly fast. We do not know what the surface is like now. We could meet you at Cambridge with an experimental car having our latest steering on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
