in relation to the gear ring on the flywheel, has been modified recently. Will you please see that 1C-G-111 is made correct.

(6) OILING.

Oiling on 20 HP. cars is a continual source of trouble. We ought to arrange a standard test, i.e., on each of our cars we should measure the amount of oil which flows past the bearings. Mr. Lovesey should carry out this job for you on the dynamometer. We ought then to carry out consumption tests on the road of 15 mins. light running with examination of cylinders and plugs. This should be a standard test and should be carried out once per month.
As regards the oil flow through the bearings, it will not be necessary to go through the whole test, if it was just checked one or two speeds would be sufficient.

(7) SUBFRAME.

We want to investigate thoroughly the mounting of the body on the subframe - (a) what movement there is takes place, (b) whether it is the cause of any of the noises and rattles, and (3) what suggestions we can make for improvements.

(8) POWER.

We ought to do a standard test on each one of our cars once a month for Performance and Petrol Consumption.
