Description of Parts: SHUTTERS OF RADIATOR OPERATED WITH SMITHS "CALORSTAT".
Origin: Radiator shutters automatically controlled. To do away with hand control.

Experimental Test Report:
Fitted to 23-EX and 24-EX, shutters operated O.K. but require to be free.
Road Test Report:
Fitted to 23-EX and 24-EX, ran 10,000 miles. The shutters have automatically operated and closed and kept the water temperature satisfactory throughout the tests. A considerable improvement to the hand controlled.
Decision Box:
A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers.
B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works.
C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis.
