In order to get a true value for the independent springing on this car we want to stiffen the frame by means of the engine. For these tests we can neglect enging roughness. We think that N.Sch.2792 is ideal for getting the whole of the frame well back. This was of course tried previously on the Phantom, but the sheet metal piece has probably been scrapped. However, it is not very complicated to make. Will you please see what alterations are necessary to fit it to 27-EX. With regard to the front engine feet, we should like these to be of the solid sandwich type, to scheme HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
