re - 20/25 h.p. Instrument Board.

Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}9/KW5.11.31.

We are particularly interested in the contents of your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst4/KT23.10.31. for two specific reasons. Firstly, we are anxious to get a perfectly balanced instrument board on the 25 h.p. similar to the one we now have on the Phantom II, and we are anxious to see the reduction which you suggest may be possible in the cost of the instrument board, as, if we can effect that, we propose to include in the chassis price the speedometer and the clock, which we are satisfied ought now to be done.

Can you, therefore, please tell me roughly how long it is likely to be before you get Messrs Smiths proposals for the manufacture of the 25 h.p. board complete with the instruments mentioned in your memo in question ?
