GRY{Shadwell Grylls}/ Your Ref:- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}6/R 10th December, 1936 Our Ref:- PS/FHA/AC. Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, We would revert to your letter of the 14th November, at which time you asked us to let you have our quotation covering 200-sets of Lockheed Hydraulically operated Jacks, and regret there has been some little delay in giving you the necessary information due to the fact that we have made certain alterations to the Hand Pump which required careful re-costing. However, we are now pleased to enclose our quotation - we have cut this as fine as possible and shall be glad to know whether the figure which we are able to quote at this time will prove attractive to you. We would add that should you find yourselves in a position to order further quantities beyond the initial 200-sets, a material reduction could be made in the price quoted as, of course, you will appreciate that, to a certain extent, this material is special to your requirements. We look forward to hearing further from you in due course and, in the meantime, remain, Yours faithfully, AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS COMPANY LIMITED. F.H.Allen.
