RE R.R.C.H. CARBURETTERS.
I want you particularly to push on with the R.R.C.H. carburetters, as we have the impression that they will make a more reliable scheme than can be obtained with the present B.Z.S. For instance, I do not remember that the B.Z.S. is equalised, and you yourself have condemned them suction control for a very long time. The workmanship and other arrangements of B.Z.S. have been condemned from time to time, so that we have much to gain by pushing forward the R.R.C.H. carburetters, including the question of safety.
You will remember that you were very enthusiastic about this at one time, but the job has lately fallen somewhat flat, which I think is wrong.
I am very surprised that you have not had the three cylinder test engine rigged up in a satisfactory manner before now. One would think that rather than not let it run, it would be worth while putting on three more cylinders and running it as a 6 cylinder unit, when at least you would be able to keep it going.
Regarding the range of control, I understand that 12% is more than they permitted you to have on the Zenith. The reason why the range has only come out at 12% is that it appears to follow the law of areas rather than hydraulic areas, and on these lines Mr. Elliott will send a new taper for the
