Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter of the 9th requesting further details of our piston we should state that we use a fully floating Gudgeon pin with end pads and should prefer you to use this type of pin in the design you are submitting to us unless you have some good reason for not wishing to do so.

We are sorry that we had omitted giving this information but trust that you will now be able to go ahead with the design.
