Dear Sirs,

All-steel Bentley Experimental Body with Improved Access.

With reference to your letter asking for particulars of the side spare wheel carrier for the above car, we have pleasure in sending you herewith LeC.5252 which is an arrangement drawing of the same. This drawing gives the exact position of the spare wheel which is carried on the off-side.

It will be noted that this is a new design of carrier whereby the vertical arm passes through a hole in the wing. After the wing is mounted in position the carrier arm is inserted in position and bolted up.

The wheel well as drawn is made large enough to take a wheel having a tyre cover, and if necessary a 6 1/2" tyre. The width of wheel well as drawn, therefore, should be adhered to.

We are endeavouring to get this carrier built and fitted to the chassis prior to sending the latter to you.

Yours faithfully,

OK CH

For and on behalf of
ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.

Att: LeC.5252.
