TCS/R/NK. 18th August 1936. J.B. Dixon Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd. DERBY. Dear Mr. Dixon, I thank you for your further letter to hand this morning and note your remarks. The pump RB.{R. Bowen}1356.G.M.1. has been running on bench ever since the day we tested it, and up to the moment it has not failed in any way. Of course, it is quite possible that the valves were put in incorrectly at your place when I left. I was not making this an excuse, but informing you exactly what I found with the pumps in question. As regards inspection, I am tightening this up. With regard to the thermostatically controlled float chamber, I am enclosing diagrammatical drawing showing how this should be fitted. I am also sending you a dozen of your type diaphragms. Kind regards, Yours sincerely, T C Skinner Enclosure | ||
