(2) Now since we have too much energy of lift we can get much better results if we arrange the air for the suction in our old way, which looks as if we can carry it out as shewn on the sketch below: Sealed pot - suction delay-ed{J. L. Edwards} but ultimately never less than in suction chamber A.{Mr Adams} Atmosphere I think this arrangement of air passages will open more slowly & close more quickly than the one we are trying. Suction chamber of carburettor. A.{Mr Adams} I understand we wish to lose some lift.
