X1487 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/AD. July 6th, 1931. S.C. Skinner Esq. The S.U. Company, Adderley Park, Birmingham. Dear Mr. Skinner, We have now done some metering curves on the needle you have given us for your carburetter and would appreciate a visit of either you or one of your representatives to discuss results. Tuesday the 7th or Wednesday the 8th of this week will be quite convenient for us. The most objectionable feature we have noted is the richness at slow speeds which we do not appear to be able to eliminate on any of the needles you have supplied. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
