Lp{Mr Lappin}2/AV/R121129. For attention of Mr. Lappin. Gentlemen, I am directed to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 12th November in connection with fitting restriction washers to the 'F' type engine installed in the Blackburn Nautilus aircraft. Confirming R.{Sir Henry Royce} D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 2. b's conversation with you some days ago, it is agreed that restriction washers can be fitted to the engines installed in the following aircraft:- Gurnard Handley Page Night Bomber. Nautilus. Vickers Night Bomber and Handley Page 'Hamilton'. It was also intended that these restriction washers should be fitted to the engines installed in Firefly 11 and 111 and all-metal Fox. Major Barlow now states that he has been able to overcome the trouble successfully by fitting a small separator.
