X 4430 To EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD4/ML 20.11.23. X.4430 - CONDENSER. Referring to your EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 11/T8.11.23., on Liberty Condensers, we send you herewith two Condensers obtained from Mr Brock. These were made at the same time as the two you had which were varnished throughout; these have been sealed at the ends by dipping in varnish, one in Stickilene and the other in a Synthetic Varnish. (Us) We would also suggest that a standard Condenser be obtained from Mr Brock and the ends dipped in Sealing Wax, the wax in the Liberty Condenser Case melts at a very low temperature and is very similar to Sealing Wax. We have ordered some Condenser Paper (waxed) and until this comes in, this is as far as we can go. BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD. Two (1st paragraph) recd 18.1.24 SS {S. Smith} & SE | ||
