HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} CHRYSLER GEARBOX. In view of the latest telegrams from R.{Sir Henry Royce} re. gear change from the steering column etc. we think it is very important that we should know whether the Chrysler gearbox with the Maybach jaws makes a good change. If you could report favourably on this it might avoid us starting on a new design of gearbox, which will be required if the steering column change is decided upon. This is sure to mean a very appreciable delay. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
