R.R. 235 A (100 T) (S.F. 846. 6-8-19) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2460. X.3461b. Extract from Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence. 12.3.20. X.3461b. I wired you this morning re the rear-side shock absorber which broke yesterday as shown in sketch. There appears to be a flaw in the metal. Fracture X.699. X.186. There has been a misfire on picking up on both ignitions lately and I traced the miss on magneto to a faulty Lodge plug and the battery ignition trouble was due to the platinum contacts. These were in a very bad state indeed and I doubt if they are platinum. Having another set on the car I fitted them and will bring the others just as they are for you to see. Mileage from the 5th. to the 12th. 718 making a total of 7296. Petrol consumption 275 litres. I am hoping to leave here about the 26th. of this month. | ||
