Lightened to reduce wear on bushes. X No. 8420 Drawing No. Part List Experimental Test Report. With the original type of front brake cam operating shaft it was found that excessive wear occurred on the bushes supporting the shaft. Road Test Report. Run 10,032 miles on 98-NK car. Examination shewed very little wear. A definite improvement. Run 5,400 miles on 93-NK. No signs of wear. [STAMP] A.P. CLASS A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test. D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis Weight of Old Part.
