The results were as follows:- (a) Maconite off 10G3 Withstood 19000 V.{VIENNA} R.M.S for 15 mins OK. (b) Maconite off 12EX Withstood 21,300 volts R.M.S for 15 mins OK. (c) Glover off 11G3 Broke down after 7 mins at 19000 volts P.M.S. (d) Maconite off 7EX. Withstood 19000 volts R.M.S for 15 mins OK. Glover off 7EX. Also withstood 19000 volts R.M.S for 15 mins OK. (e) Glover off 8EX. Broke down at 18000 volts R.M.S. It will have been noticed that in nearly every test "Maconite" has shown a definite superiority.
