Harker - Sales} and B.38.KT. We have received instructions to supply a new Bentley chassis to Mr. A.Y.Gowen and chassis B.38.KT has been allotted. We are informed that Mr. Gowen requires the steering on this new chassis modifying in a similar manner to the steering fitted on his previously Bentley, B.28.HK.{Col. T. Harker - Sales} We have stated that we have no record of any alterations to the steering and that a standard column was supplied. We are now informed that the steering was modified by Kingsbury in November, 1936, and that some special parts were supplied by your Department. We are referred to memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/R.17.11.36 to C. Will you please let us have a copy of this memo and particulars of the alterations, in order that we may issue instructions to the Works to provide a column of a similar type on the new chassis for Mr. Gowen.
