Re. ANTI FREEZING COMPOUNDS.

We have noted the contents of your H.6/RK. 1.2.33., and do not think it worth while to do anything in the matter. We should only start an endless stream of correspondence and gain very little in the end.

The pamphlet in question is of course old and out of date; the addition of Sodium Silicate is new this year. Glycerine Ltd., could not revive their pamphlet without going to the expense of another R.A.C. test; this they are scarcely likely to do for our benefit; alternatively it is not probable that they would entirely delete the R.A.C. test certificate from their pamphlet. The addition of Sodium Silicate does not in any way alter the anti freeze properties of Zero.

If we ask them to remove our name from the pamphlet we shall only raise a good deal of ill feeling; it must be remembered that we recommended Glycerine in our instruction book until quite recently and there is the possibility in the future of recommending Zero.
