| 200a. To GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} c. to G.W.H. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swd1.15/JH.19.3.37. In response to your request for new oil pipes to and from the external filter on 6-B-IV, we are sending out the following parts :- (1) Top and bottom pipes in steel tube with bend in top pipe to allow flexibility. (2) New filter case and cover. An adaptor union for your thermometer tube has been fitted into the base of the filter case in order to keep the pipes intact. There is no washer in the cap for holding down the filter element. Will you take the washer off existing filter and use for the new one in conjunction with the element also. (3) New bracket for clamping the filter to the crankcase. (4) Stay which goes from the drain plug (equipped with stud) to the crankcase.
