For the attention of Mr. Entwistle.

Dear sir,

Thank you for your CE/MHR.{M. H. Rigby} of the 17th April.

We are today returning to you under separate cover the Patent Autovac Apparatus contained in a glass outer chamber which you kindly loaned to us on 13th Feb. We must apologise for the glass container being slightly cracked; this occurred during tests which were being conducted with hot petrol.

Thanking you for the loan of the apparatus,

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
