SUMMARY OF TEST.
These tests confirm previous tests on this engine to increase the output - that is, we cannot improve power to any degree by increasing the induction freeness.
The question of increasing the power of the 20 HP. engine is being treated as urgent. The chassis weight on the 20 HP. is now 200 lbs. heavier than the original chassis. The chief additions in weight are :-
G.111. Gearbox & Servo 37.3 lbs. heavier than G.11.
G.111. Front axle & brakes 60.0 " " " "
G.111. Frame tie rods 27.0 " " " "
G.111. Rear axle 4.5 " " " "
G.111. Front spring 6.0 " " " "
