To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} X1265 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/KW.11.11.35. In view of the failure of Hall's metal bearings both in France and on the Test Bed, it is probable we shall have to fit lead bronze bearings to big bore units when we go into production. This means that our interest in the larger oil pump and larger relief valve to operate at a more uniform pressure is revived. We should be glad if you would keep somebody continuously on this job in conjunction with W. Bell until we have achieved some results.
