Dear Mr. Bayles,

You will be interested to know we have gone over to B.I. ignition cable on all our cars in preference to Maconite.

What I am now interested in is whether you can produce an ignition cable with a dielectric having less specific inductivity in order to reduce the self capacity per unit length of the cable. I believe they are doing this in America.

Apparently they have two layers of dielectric, one having half the dielectric inductivity of the other.

The idea of course is to reduce the capacity loading on the ignition system.

I should be interested to have your views on this question.

Yours sincerely,
