c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Y3806 Expl: Dept: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gyl/LG15.3.29. 15th. Mar. 1929. Messrs. Luvax Ltd., Larden Rd., Acton, London W.3. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Pitt. We have as yet received no information of the arrival of the Drip Plugs promised for Wednesday last. You know, of course, that these are very urgent, and it would be of great convenience if you could notify us whenever trouble causes delay, thereby enabling us to calibrate a set ourselves. Of course, you realise that we do not want to do this as we cannot guarantee our figures are the same as yours, but we would far sooner you gave us no promise at all than that we should be let down on the delivery at the promised date. If you have not already written, will you kindly wire us the position in regard to the promised set. Mr. Bailey has passed on to me three cartridges shewing the new method of peaning over. I understand that he is satisfied that these are better done, but it would be of great use to us if you could send us three open cases for these cartridges so that we can test the efficiency of the peaning over. Yours faithfully, | ||
